Delete power steering?

    It's not something you would do for HP increase.

    I originally did my delete due to a leaky system and didn't want to deal with it at the time. But now I realize that having no power steering is a great benefit to more "experienced" drivers. Feeling the tires gripping power based on its slip angle is much easier to feel without power steering.

    I originally did not expect such feedback. I thought it would just simply be stiffer.

      Is it worth taking the whole damn thing apart to take those seals out? (In the miata link)

      What difference would that make?

        My pump leaked right after i put in my Z3 rack ran around for a while with no fluid in it aka no power steering, was a little difficult not bad finaly got a new water pump, and pulleys. Used a gates K060540 vs a K060612. and you can run with out the pump left it in just removed to inside bolt on the bracket for clearence would rec. taking out and pulging holes on rack just didnt have time
        Did all the work sat.
        Monday i missed a stop sign in a town i wasnt falmilar with and totaled car.
