i doubt its the radiator cap. have you taken off the intake manifold yet?? your eyes are your best tool here.

There is no way it's the radiator cap.

Take off the manifold, a little talcum powder (or flour, your choice) and you'll find the source.

You really should look at all the coolant lines on etk for your motor to get familiarized. Then follow them with a flashlight and mirror. If its leaking that bad it should be easy to see.

The other option is an externally leaking headgasket. I had to do mine this summer because it was leaking at the back of cylinder 6. At first I thought it was the pipe on the back of the head. Sadly it required at bit more time and $$$.

Why would it go away when I replaced the cap then? I dont understand. I drove it for a month and put at least 1200 miles on it! No Leaks. Now the thing is back!

Its going to break my heart to know that my fresh 14k miles on rebuild motor is experiencing a head gasket leak. Any help in the CA, north bay?

Know of a writeup as to how to pull that intake out? and if you think it is spider hose, could that be an explanation as to why my heater does not work... No hot air coming into cabin. Thanks for the help!

Intake is pretty easy. You can see all the bolts from the top of the engine. Just disconnect everything attached to it.
