:x I have no idea why. Just got the swap a week ago, havent driven it, and now overheating. Nothing seems to be happening by the coolant expansion tank, but all the fluid looks to be spilling from the oil pan. I dont get it. Its dripping like mad from the oil pan. Where is it coming from and how do I fix? Too bad I am mile and miles from home.

Do you have the coolant hose hooked up on the head between the motor and firewall? Maybe it's coming down from there.

My overflow hose is actually in the driver side front fender. So I dont think thats it.
The water pump should be fine. Spider hose? Is that the hose that is fed from the bottom hole of the expansion tank and goes to the "T" one side going to the heater and the other ending right by the oil filter? It may be that, but I think my weak aux fan is making my motor overheat and my fluid is spilling from somewhere. I think it is coming from the coolant hose which ends by the oil filter because it is right above the oil pan. It is not coming from the radiator, or radiator hoses led to the thermostat.
I think an aux fan is what I need. But Where is this leak coming from!Comment

I am not talking about the overflow, It's the heater hose leading into the firewall that come off from the back of the head.Comment

yeah, its most likely one of your coolant lines poped off, check the one on the back of the block that goes to the heater core, and check the spider hose at the heater core connection aswell.. it may also be your throttle body warmer hose, or a plug bolt in the block has come out(very unlikly)
when you look under the hood is any of the rest of the engine wet? this will give you an idea where it is comming from, check around the starter, engine mount arms, the transmission bell housing..
when you fill up your coolant does it just pour right out again? if you cant find the leak then try to get a buddy or someone under the car well you fill it up, see if they can identify where its comming from...
Also check to see if your oil is milky(whitish color to it) if it is then it means the water is somehow getting into the oil, would could be a head gasket, cracked block, or who knows what else...Comment

That sounds like a bad idea if it's pouring out as bad as he makes it seem it is.
Turn the engine on, stick your hand behind the oil filter under the intake manifold where that coolant hose connects. If your hand is wet, it's coming from there.
Do the same thing at the firewall. It's under the manifold right next to the brake booster. Feel around and try to get a look at it with a flashlight in hand if need be.
It's probably just a loose or bad connection.

I think you're right. I have a new discovery though. The car has been sitting since (engine off) and the expansion tank is empty! Basically, coolant has been dripping the entire time from this spot. Still looking and can't find it. All hoses going to the thermostat seem dry, expansion tank is dry. I dont think it is the hose going to the heater because the top of the oil pan on the driver side is wet (coolant looks to be sitting there). I am going to check the coolant drain plug on the passenger side but I doubt it.Comment

Sometimes when it's leaking from a connection, it will run along the bottom side of the hose and fall/drip off at the lowest point.
Keep poking around, you're bound to find it. Might need to turn the car on for a little bit or let it run so it's pumping fluid through the motor to find it though. Good luck.Comment

Bingo! As soon as you said it was leaking from the oil pan i was like it has to be the water pump. Easy repair.

What a water pump actually go out like it did on mine? It was basically WATERFALLING off my oil pan. Would the seal really go out that bad?Comment
