I wouldn't bother with a big MAF on a 2.5. AA makes a good chip for cammed 2.5's, a friend uses one on a 325i with an M3 head, it makes a lot of power with only a cat-back exhaust and has a pretty good torque curve considering the short-stroke. I don't know if that is an OTS or custom job from AA though. Matt can probably come up with something solid.
