Whose chip is the best these days?

Should he do a 540i MAF or is it even worth it?

I wouldn't bother with the MAF for a stock motor. Stock injectors would be fine also.

I know TRM chips make your tire pressure drop. All my tires were at 28psi then I installed the chip and they are all 25psi .... BEWARE

I wouldn't bother with a big MAF on a 2.5. AA makes a good chip for cammed 2.5's, a friend uses one on a 325i with an M3 head, it makes a lot of power with only a cat-back exhaust and has a pretty good torque curve considering the short-stroke. I don't know if that is an OTS or custom job from AA though. Matt can probably come up with something solid.
