And this is all obd2 correct? I am smack dab in the middle of choosing between the two... My m52 came out of a 96 so its obd2, but people say for the power, tuning ability, and no ews go obd1, but now I learn that there are two ecu's that work with obd2 that have no ews...

Brett at trm told me there was really no way around ews and to just go obd1...

this is obdI... ALL OBDII ECU's pertaining to this swap are EWS. EWS is easy to delete, it just cost 200 and you need to send the ECU off to someplace like active autowerks. Go OBDI though and save yourself the hassle.
