What "bolt ons" bring an s52 to 300hp and what's the cost?

    .....

Factory rated crank horsepower, yes. Wheel horsepower, no.

There are used S/C kits on ebay, and craiglist, etc...which can be had for $ 2000-3000
    Bolt it and forget it!

Your claim about the EvoSport race cams 280whp is around 322 at the crank. So the EvoSport race cams are worth 60+ HP at the crank? With no headwork?
Plenty of people have made 250+whp, on Schricks on OBD1 and OBD2 s52s without headwork (a few have broken 260whp with headwork). Sunbelts are capable of 255-265 whp, up to 278whp with euro headers and headwork.

As far as the Evosport cams go, they aren't streetable. They have 292/292 duration, which causes you to lose A LOT of low end torque. Those cams really scream past 4500 though. Evosport made 308whp on those cams NA. Obviously they require upgraded valve springs and retainers at the minimum.

Doesn't work that way.... you can't just add up possible (peak) hp from every mod like 1 + 2 + 3 = 6 etc.

If you want 300hp daily drivable (read not something you have to rev the piss out of it, or will idle funny or not pass smog) you'll want to do an s54/s38/v8 swap or proven supercharger route.

Ok can someone do a breakdown on the hp gain for me? For example:
    Exhaust 5 hp
    cams 30 hp
    etc.......

And the approximate cost. I am trying to figure out where I should head with my swap plans and what is attainable. Above all else it must be a reliable DD and not obnoxiously loud.

Cams are the ultimate factor, and they also give you different powerbands
Schrick - have the widest powerband out of the 3 options, but make less peak power
Sunbelt - make more peak power, but have a narrower powerband then the Schricks
Evosport Race - require an upgraded valvetrain, but are capable of 280+whp. Problem is they're so aggressive that you will rob a lot of the low end power to make up for it above 4k.

    3.5" MAF
    24# injectors
A proper intake and filter set-up
euro headers mated to a properly tuned exhaust
    PS delete
    AC delete
    Underdrive pulleys
    A good tune
I have TMS equal length and no underdrive pulleys (but no PS or AC), but the 3.5" MAF, 21.5# injectors (TRM claims they are good to 250whp or about 290 crank), full 2.5" mandrel exhaust with straight through muffler, cleaned/flowed injectors and a TRM tune.

truth, not gonna happen, you can but it will cost big money to build and it will still barely hit 300 crank and that is a BUILT engine. S52 OBD1 + AA or VF supercharger = well over 300 rwhp without breaking the bank.
