    Power Steering with M50

Does anyone know if the e30 hoses will fit on an m50 to an e30 rack?

    Thanks.

I can verify that the E30 M3 hoses work, but the reservoir feed hose to the PS pump needs to be shortened if you relocate the reservoir to the E36 placement on the LF motor mount bracket.

Will the banjo bolts from the E30 hoses link up to the M50 power steering pump? Yes.

Will the banjo bolts with all E36 stuff bolt into an E30 rack? Yes.

      Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

If you can afford the E30 M3 lines I would get those, The restrictor is nice allows it not to feel overboosted.

yup, just need to shorten the low pressure hoses to the res if you mount in E36 location. I didnt at first and when i got under the car after a short drive the line was kinked and dripping, wasnt so much fun doing this task with a full system and an otherwise spotless engine bay.... LOL

Thanks for the responses, always helps!

Leaving the reservoir where it is attached on the m50.

Cool so I have been wasting my time looking for e36 lines.

all i did was take my E36 p/s res and put it in the factory location on the motor mount arm used the short hose that comes off that hooked right upto the p/s pump and the line from the steering rack takes a bit of bending of the hard line but you can get it to bolt right up
