    Cold Air Intake

So I finally am happy with my CAI and thought I would share...

My goal was to find something that would keep the 3 inch pipe and not mess with the ABS, cruise control or the coolant bottle. I'm not sure if I'm even going to mess with a heatshield.

pulls from the stock location. I pulled the headlight to check clearance.

i wasnt trying to be a dick. im not running anything cause my s50s not in my car yet. i will figure out something different from that though. it may be easier for me as my condenser is gone and thats where my radiator sits.

What do you mean make a stack our of the high beam? Just take out the light? What about water into the filter? I'm open to ideas

you need a shield, that's a hot air intake right now. don't worry about the high beam delete, maybe for track use but it's pointless on the street. also it doesn't create a ram effect, just cooler air.

You could make one like this.

Isn't really that hard to do. Plus, it holds the air filter and maf in position without zip ties or bolting.

Not really. Its plastic so it retains heat pretty well. If yours is getting hot (water boiling) it could be a problem within your cooling system. The radiator and the motor itself should emit more heat than the reservoir.
