I will take out of my car my s50 engine soon. I will maybee stay in the garage for a year. What should I do to keep it in good condition?

Take out the spark plugs and spray some WD40 into each hole.

You just need something to coat the cylinder walls. It's really not a big deal.

Put it in a big ass vacuum bag and suck all the oxygen out so no oxidation occurs. =)

Auto parts stores usually sell some sort of special can that is made for this. I think mine is made by stabil and is called fogging somethingeranother.

              ^^^^This.
The Can is black in colour, if that helps :D.

Drain the engine oil (has acidic combustion by-products in it), fill with fresh. Run it for 2 minutes then shut off. That way the bearings won't be sitting in acidic oil, which etches the coatings.

fresh oil in the bottom end, fogging oil in the top end, maybe some fuel stabilizer in the fuel system so whatever is left in the fuel rail doesn't turn to varnish and clog your injectors, that is unless you are going to remove the fuel system components

what ever you do, don't use wd40. it will only inhibit corrosion when it is wet. once the oil dries out, what is left over promotes corrosion. seriously. if you want to see a good example of this, take one of your guns(assuming you have some), spray wd 40 on it and put it away under your bed or in your basement for a year and come back to see what you have.

Have used fogging oil for storing thing throughout the winter for a long time, and vise versa when storing thing through the summer as well.
