Rod Bushings... wtf

Ok so we were pressing the new bushings into the rods and ran into a problem. The new ones went in fine but when we tried to stick the wrist pin though the bushing it was a no go. We measured the thickness of the old bushing vs the new one and its .5 mil thicker than the old ones. Also the hole for the oil is smaller than my old ones too. Real OEM and pelican both say i have the correct PN... so wtf is going on?

machine shop is supposed to hone bushings to fit wrist pins. duh.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.
