Max HP for an M50 turbo swap?

I'm sure this is already answered somewhere within the bowels of this place but it doesn't come up in the search so im asking outright: What is the max horsepower you can (theoretically or known) achieve from a turbo'd M50?

Depends on so many factors. Are you talking an uncracked stock m50 or rebuilt?

Basically, a lot of HP. If you want to go 9s, you could feasibly do it with an m50

Thanks guys! My husband was telling me how his KA can be pushed over 1k and I was willing to bet money that the m50 could do way better :D

I don't think he is honestly going to try 1k, maybe 400 lol. He is having the KA rebuilt before he puts it back in his s13.

Yeah, running a 9.26@154 mph, IIRC in the 1/4 mile. CardCounter on BF.c has 996 whp on his 2.8L.
