        I bought this for my 2 door. Since it didn't fit I tested it on the vert and it fit on the vert. So there for they must have sent the wrong one! No?

              In my experience, there seem to be two different dimensions for the E30 strut towers.
              2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD LBZ/Allison
              2002 BMW M3 Alpinweiß/Black

                The factory book says the distance between the strut towers is 1002.2mm +-2mm (39.5"). Measured from center to center (where the shock sticks thru). Many cars measure about 980mm (38.75"). Sooo BMW made two slightly different unibodies
