    Wire adapter help.

So, Ive spent damn near all night looking at wire schematics and posts and everything for the adapter for my swap. I have a c101 and x20 connector for making the adapter, a bit of extra wire and my crimpers. Im going to post up my diagram for the adapter, if anyone has any input on it, please let me know. Car is a 89 325i and the harness is a 94/95 e36 harness. Question marks indicate what im fairly unsure about.

I'll have my adapter out and on the bench in the next day or so and should be able to help you verify a few things.

For the time being: I have 15-15 hooked up and I'm pretty sure I have 16-22 hooked up too. I think Hersly's right about 16 not going anywhere.

That looks good. There are only two wires that do not go color to color when building the harness for an 89.

well damn, i have 3 wires that dont go to the same colors. However it could be my choice of connectors for the adapter, c101 came from a e32 and the x20 came from a 93 ish e34

15-15, 11-11, and 8-24 didnt match up color wise.

Isn't pin 6 the e30 o2 sensor heater relay power? so what you did is use pin 6 on the e30 side to power the diagnostic plug? Or did I fuck my chart up.
Also I have 11-19 for the SI reset, this is just a chart though NOT A TESTED HARNESS.

I threw this together tonight, will let you guys sort through my stuff atleast a little easier. any questions, just ask, this is untested, and I have no clue if it will actually work, so do not make your own based off of this, then blame me when your car explodes, catches on fire, or throws itself into a lake.

Adrian, im pretty sure your correct on 11-19, after going back over this tonight my notes seem to go with yours. Thanks buddy.

bring this back fromt the dead.

I have an 89 vert and for the life of me i cant seem to get my tach working. i tried two different possibilities and neither have worked. IIRC the late models, (basically after 86 right?) we don't have to deal with the C104 thats under the dashboard, and our speedo, tach, and fuel economy should be connected through the c101/x20.

am i missing something. I'd really like to get my tach up and running.
