Swapped car fuse number 9 info

Fuse number 9 in my car keeps blowing, wondering if this is the cause behind my car running like poop.

I honestly have no idea where to start with this stuff, all I know is that it's the fuel deliver/idle fuse and fuel delivery definitely seems important.

Tips on solving this? I realize this means that there is a short or mess in the wiring but I don't now where to start. I bought a premade adapter which is all of the wiring that's been done. So if it's a wiring issue then it's from the x20 to c101 connection.

Hope this isn't too stupid of a question...

Found Jlevie post this on bimmerforums:
Fuse 9 is part of the set that supplies power to the injection electronics, along with 10, 11, & 12. I didn't take the time to sort though the diagrams to see exactly what the fuse powers, but it should be left in place.

Which would explain why I'm throwing a code for fuel injector 1 and my car isn't running well...

Don't waste you damn time "tracking wires from a fusebox", read the diagrams.

No, it isn't easy, that is why electrical work is far more expensive than any other type of automotive work.

Do you have your ETM downloaded? How about the ETM from the donor car?

I believe the ETM is the wiring diagrams? Yes I have them from the donor and the e30.

Problem is I have no clue how to read them, going through them right now trying to figure it out...

I'm thinking if I can figure out what pin fuse 9 goes to on the c101 that would be a good start.

Car was originally 2.7e so I assume I look there.

I'm noticing something to do with a temp switch, relationship to my car running poorly right as it starts to warm up?

                  No clue what I'm doing...

                    Very worth while post.

Clayton did you mess with any of the wires that goes to the injectors?

Nope, in fact I replaced the entire harness to make sure they were good...

                      (after the whole frying incident...)

The wire runs from fuse 9 to pin 6 of the C101, according to that.

So check pin 6 on your C101 adapter. It's probably shorted to something.

I was wondering what that little number meant, I didn't want to take a (good) guess at it being the pin number.

I will check pin 6 on the c101 and corresponding pin on x20 after I go wash my grandma's car ( better than driving nothing...)

                              Well this is interesting.

Pin 6 coming off of the c101 has two wires coming from the same pin.

There is one thick green/white and one thinner green/white. On my adapter the thick green/white continues over to the x20 but the smaller diamater green/white wire is cut.

Seems problematic, but I'm at a complete loss of where to go from here.
