Are the obd 1 s50 and m50 harnesses the same? Like 1993 325ia vanos m5 with an 1995 m3 engine harness ok?

They're interchangeable, the M3 auto harness is different than a 325 auto harness but will still work.

Man, there are a lot of 24v swaps going on in Charlotte right now.. PM me if you need any help/tips/tricks with the swap. I'd be glad to help.

But yeah, like he said they are interchangeable.
