I calculated the lobe centers and durations

Intake opens: 19 BTDC (9.5 degrees on the cam)
Intake closes: 41 ABDC (20.5 degrees on the cam)

            Duration 19+41+180 = 240 degrees
Lobe Center ((41-19)/2+90)= 101 degrees ATDC

Exhaust opens: 35 BBDC (17.5 degrees on the cam)
Exhaust closes:13 ATDC (6.5 degrees on the cam)

            Duration 35+13+180 = 228 degrees
Lobe Center (35-13)/2+90= 101 degrees BTDC

            Timing for nonvanos intakecams
Exhaust opens: 41 BBDC (20.5 degrees on the cam)
Exhaust closes: 19 ATDC (9.5 degrees on the cam)

            Duration 41+19+180 =240 degrees
Lobe Center (41-19)/2+90= 101 degrees BTDC

exhaust 50,5degree on cam before top dead center
intake 50,degree on cam after top dead center

So the difference is exact 101 degrees. Intake cam should be turned 101degrees clockwise and then lobes will be in same place.

I“ll measure the back end of the camshaft for timing jig and make one nextweek.

              thanks for help.

Wow, I forgot about this thread. I have my dual intake cams installed and running on megasqurit. All seems good but I am not wondering if the timing is as good as it can be. Does anyone else have any experience with this?

After doing some more reading, I am satisfied that my timing is good. I am now thinking of having my intake cam reground to s50 intake specs

Interested in this as well since I just installed NV motor in my e30. Would I need any other tuning or just properly adjusted cams?
                          Thanks
