M52 and M52TUB28 compatibility

Hey, looking for a little insight. I am building an 11:1 2.9L cammed M52TUB28 for a race car project. Will the single VANOS head bolt right on? I guess I'm asking if the block dimensions are the same, besides the differences in block material. I believe the head will fit no problem, but looking for some confirmation. If it doesn't fit, I will do a VANOS delete on the exhaust cam.

Head is completely different, the coolant passages were changed for the "reverse flow" flow scheme.

Does that mean I will need cams specific to the M52TUB28? I assume the crank will fit just fine in the block.
