Ok, guys, not sure where to start, but I just got my S52...I need help on where to start. AT a minimum, I would like to get the engine started outside the motor...I already got most of the swap parts...will post pics soon.

It's possible. In HS, we built a crate for the motor, wired everything up, was able to start the motor and let it run open headers
It's not practical to do it though.I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.

i frequently will run SBC's and BBC's out side of their applications(marine or auto) It is very easy to do on a carbureted engine, and with about 3 wires and a jerry can you can run one. These engines are a little tricker because you are going to need a fuel pump in the system. if you can get a working fuel pump system going, then its really only a case of touching wires to the battery to get the engine running.Comment
