the rear got a 3.25:1 LSD with IE swaybar new driveshaft and UUC short shift with a ERK and DSS. we also installed the UUC brake and clutch lines. while I was at the back of the car I installed the euro toolkit and trunk lid panel. now I'm just waiting on BMW to get the larger foam piece in for the trunk lid.

Man.. you had a lift and still took the engine out from the top. I'm jealous enough that you have access to one.

Had access to a lift? Thats the one I own, it is definitely become a necessity around our shop. And yes I took the trans out then the engine. much simpler

I would have thought it would have been much easier to drop the whole front subframe, thats what I did on my swap without a lift. I just lifted the car with the engine hoist and lowered it down on the engine, trans, and front subframe.

I removed the adapter flange on the back and shortened the rod so I wouldn't have to run a remote brake reservoir. So now everything will look stock
