m50 swap will die and not start for a few hours.

alright well Ive been driving around on my m50 swapped e30 for about a year and half and not a single problem until this.

lately Ill be driving and everything is fine. go to pull up to a stop sign and the idle will surge until I've completely stopped and now sometimes when slowing down it will just die. and wont start back up until a few hours later usually sometimes it will start back up and ill have to rev it for a minute and itll be fine.

I've replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pump relay, dme relay. went out and sprayed brake cleaner on nearly every hose looking for a vacuum leak. Nothing. checked some ground wires which I made all of them new a year ago. I'm lost and dont want to keep dumping money into it and not getting anywhere.

This sounds so much like a bad fuel filter or pump but you said its been replaced. hmmmm maybe something fuel related then. Had this happen on a few cars and when I replaced the fuel filter on one and the pump on another everything was fine.

the idle is surging more often now. And I put a load tester on it and my alternator is on the borderline of putting out enough. it also drops the more stuff on.
