    New problem

Just went to my car for a drive, and now it's stalling. I drove it earlier for the first time and it ran fine minus the hard shifting. Went to go again and the revs started to drop and it stalled. Started it back up seemed normal for a minute the revs drop and stall.
Before this I've started it plenty of times and had no issue with the revs dropping or seemingly wanting to stall.
I've driven the car once and I'm already fed up and want to sell it.

Check over all your connections(connectors and wires), make sure the ICV is connected, the hoses are good. Looking at a past pic, you need to clock the HFM to 10 o'clock (from front of car)

Make sure the crank position sensor is bolted securely.

        Are you getting a cel?

Sensors are all new and seem to all be connected. New hoses aswell. What do u mean by the hfm being at 10? My connection is at like 2 o'clock I should rotate it? And I have a made adapter so I'm thinking the wire connections are good.

            HFM clocking won't cause this.

OP don't give up when the going gets tough. Test your fuel pressure and delivery volume, it may be a fuel pump or filter.

Are you getting any CEL codes?

Yeah I get a light, but my stomp test doesn't work.

Ya I know, just something to be noted while he's under the hood.

On the subject of fuel pumps, had a friend's e30 that after troubleshooting found just a sloppy pin in the connector to the fuel pump. If the back seat's are out you should be able to hear the pump prime when you turn the key from off to on (not start).

Just tried the car again. Started up ran for 6-7 minutes revs going up and down a little but it's done that since the first time I started it. But it ran for 6-7 minutes like that then stalled. Started it fires right back up but would go to die. Seems like I could keep it going as long as I revved it.

Throttle hunting, then motor stalls; I can only think air leak or dirty/malfunctioning ICV, check the intake manifold for cracks.

If it's fuel related, maybe if the FPR is sticky, try to get a gauge on the fuel rail, make sure fuel lines aren't crimped up anywhere.

Cleaned the icv tonight. started the car, ran good real steady idle for 7-8 minutes. Then took it for a spin a few miles, and on the way back the check engine light came on and revs started to drop and it stalled. So im clueless to how it can run smooth then not.
maybe its when it comes up to temp...

Do the stomp test and figure out what code it's throwing.

Pulling codes in some way will really help you out.

Sure seems idle related, but it may be something in the computer. Have you pulled the battery overnight and let codes reset? Kinda a long shot.
