I have Active Autowerkes Stage 2 kit on my e30, with a smaller (higher boost) pulley. Most of the kit is applicable to the e30 chassis, just expect to have to fabricate all the charge and intake piping from scratch.
Puts down over 400whp, hoping to eek out a little bit more with some rework on the charge pipes to optimize velocity.

Heres mine.
Total price to this point is about 3700 dollars. I went behind AA's back and got a tune from another company. Right now I am at around 350whp, but there is plenty more power to be had.
My previous build (currently E30-less)

How much did you drop on the s/c setup if you don't mind me asking?
I only run the fan during the summer when I intend to use the R12 AC to keep the car cool. Even with a whoop ass 16" Spal pusher it still needs a clutch fan to keep the temps in check.
I paid about $3k for the entire setup.

Maybe I simply put the car together better than you.
Intercooler proof is here.
Or how about this
Please dont cut apart what I say, when in all actuality, I have touched and built my car, and you have simply heard about it on the internet. My previous build (currently E30-less)

Yeah, don't see why you are getting all defensive. That's not AA's front mount intercooler, it looks like some OE Saab unit, and neither is all that piping doing to/from it. A bunch of off bits of elbows and silicone couplers cobbled together that look like excessive failure points.
Here is a complete AA Stage II C38 Rotrex kit, with the piping as supplied from AA.
