what compression numbers on a m50nv

What should I see for compression numbers if I compression test a m50nv?

It has only 126K on it, so im assuming its not too beat, but want to check numbers before buying.

    thanks

I think the important thing is the variation between cylinders. They should all be fairly close (within 10% maybe?)

okay. but would be a bad thing if they all come out at, like, 90-100? I know which an m20 people typically get around 150ish on a healthy motor IIRC.

The reading depends on the altitude you are at but 90-100 seems low. If they are all within 10% though I would suspect a problem with the pressure tester more than the engine.

Yeah I think 140-160 is normal, but it really does depend on the tester.
