    Broken Drive shaft

    I was accelerating from a stop sign on my way to work and my rebuilt drive shaft went out on me. The drive shaft input flange is now separate from the drive shaft.

    It's not supposed to do that...

    Warrantee claim?

      It has a year warranty, it is 1.5 years old. I think it should still be warrantied because this should never happen.

        I would contact the rebuilder, send them the video and see what they say. Worst case they say to pound sand and you need to get the yoke welded on elsewhere. Seems like a clear cut case of failure in workmanship to me

            I got the shaft out today looks like a poor weld...

              definitely a manufacturing defect, if the company refuses to fix their own problem, make sure you post who the company is so people can avoid them in the future.
