    s50 rebuild?

thinking about getting an s50 it has 150000 on it. I did a little researching but couldnt find anything solid. Someone said that if the motor is good to just through it in and then Ive seen other people saw to just replace everything so kind of unsure what to do? I am going to look at it saturday it's still in the car and runs so iam going to bring a compression tester with me. Anything else I should maybe check?

Warm compression, check the plugs for oil fouling. A rebuild is going to cost a few bucks.

Early S50 engines had valve spring seat problems.
You may want to inspect the valve train.
