    E30 S52 Running TOO RICH!!

I cannot get my check engine light to turn off and the code says the fuel mixture is too rich and cannot leaned out any more. Also my idle pulses some times and my car stats to run like shit. I have to disconnect the computer and then it is fine

I have checked for vacuum leaks
    replaced virtually all sensors
    ICV valve
    New Engine harness
    New ECU
    Different chips

Does anyone have any thoughts??? I need to figure this out!!!

first of all... lmao... you fail at the interwebz. Host pics online..

second what code and are/is your O2 sensor(s) good as in did you replace these too? AIT O2 and maf are what basically dictate your A/F. who's chip. some info would be nice.
    No more e30s for me.

The O2 Sensor is new and the code says that there is a short in the ground for the O2 sensor and the mixture is too rich. There is a tone of black smoke under hard acceleration to prove it

Turner Chip for E30 swap w/ lightened fly wheel & 3.5 MAF

And yeah im no computer whiz...

O2 sensor actually has nothing to do with the mixture under hard acceleration (WOT). It will mess with your fuel trim though. This is where you would want a wideband O2 sensor to see what it's doing.

I have some friends that own a BMW shop so hey let me use their diagnostic tool.

I think the fuel pump is alright, but i dont think that would have anything to do with the motor running rich...but i dont know for sure

Is there anyway to check if the O2 sensor is working???

Is it possible the fuel pressure reg. is faulty... it is also new/er

Absolutely yes on the FPR, or the vacuum line that runs it.

                  ie: a rlb 413 or 506 e36/34 not a e30

i doubt an e30 ecu would run an m50 the m20 having a [mechanical] distributor and all. +1 on the FPR stock new/er or aftermarket? i'd put my money elsewhere if it was a stock unit.
