    Fan and radiator questions

Currently I'm doing an M50 non vanos swap in an early model E30. I tried to shove the M20 eta fan on with a rad from an automatic (had it lying around) and I def get hitting.

Is the problem that the auto rad is thicker or that the early model eta fan is too thick? Yes I can do a fan delete mod but I'm on an uber tight budget. I need something to get the car running asap.

    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

Fan delete is just a themostat, switch and water wetter, its like $70, just do it and stop screwing around with stuff trying to get it to fit. Just my 2 cents.

Fan delete mod isn't really adequate cooling. Is this going to be turbo and used for drifting or is this a swap for someone else?

It's gonna be NA but it will see track use.

How much is it hitting by you think? Are you using the normal top raidiator support/ mount bracket? Sometimes by not using that bracket and zip tieing it to the body at the top can bring it away from the fan an 1/8-1/4 inch. Cause sometimes the bracket holds it out a little.
