s50 is in....now typical ps leaks!

    ^^New 'old-school' zebra/screw hose clamps will work great, like Matt and Fred said. These leaks are very common with all later model BMW's and I see it all the time on E36 and E46 cars (of course..). A power steering service at our shop includes fresh hose clamps and crush washers along with a new reservoir (there's a filter in there..)-- usually the source of the leak is the hoses at the base of the reservoir.

    Summary?-- Re-clamping the hoses should do the trick.

        no leaks here so far after driving the s52 for around 7k miles. Newish e30 PS lines, new reservoir, and new crush rings all around.
