    What the heck!?! I was taking a video and the noise went away during the video. I started the engine after tightening the headers to 21 ft/lbs. It is still uploading on Youtube but you can still hear the noise before it fades on the video.

        The ticking disappears while recording. WHAT??? Maybe it was just a lifter. But it is wierd how it started right after a push start. My car still cuts off if I get on the throttle though. - That I cant figure out. -----> http://r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=189573

          Nowhere in this thread did you say anything about having an S50. They often make lifter noise (at least, when I'm at an HPDE, I often hear e36 owners whining about it).

          Sounds like a ford 7.3 diesel at idle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixaUr...eature=related

          IIRC, you're supposed to hold the revs up to 3k for a minute or two to let it "self bleed" per BMW.
