    WTB e34 oil pickup

    Im swapping an m50 and i have the e34 oil pan but i didnt get the oil pickup. Does anyone know where i can get one. Thanks

    pelican parts or Blunt on here, about $30, make sure you get the gasket too

          Get the gasket that goes with it as well.

            yes it bolts right in. You have to do something about the bracket for the old one though.

                Most people just break it off by wiggling it back and forth until the metal fatigues. If you remove the bolts that hold it on, it's generally accepted that you ought to get two new bolts.

                They also get tightened to a torque angle, not a torque value.

                So, if you have the tools to put it back to the proper torque angle and 2 new bolts, great! If not, just break it off.
