    Few after swap issues.

    (88 325is M52B28 OBD1)

Overall it runs perfect! Finally it happened after so much talking, Im stoked!
    But.

    1. Coolant temp gauge is not working. I turn the key and it clicks up right away to the bottom of the blue and doesn't go any further. I'm using this
    And I grounded it also.

    2. Speedometer fixed.

    3. Clutch releases at the very bottom to the floor. It's been bled quite a few times. Does it need to be bled more possibly?

Your using the 1 prong sensor (e30) for the cluster correct? The picture shows a 2 prong and though its the picture off their site it can be misleading as it's not the right temp sensor in their product.

yeah, doesn't look like the right sensor. it should be a 1 pin sensor with a brown connector.

Thanks, you guys are on point. I just checked and I have the 2 prong one. So I'll swap that out here soon.

            Any ideas on the clutch?

The ABS power wire was getting grounded out some how causing the number 7 pin to not get power. I had a friend of mine help me out on diagnosing it, so I don't really remember the details.

In for my clutch sucking too.

I heard that you should take the slave off of the transmission when bleeding otherwise air gets stuck around the bend.

Curious what people say. I haven't tried pulling the slave off yet.

hmmm... I just put a new one on and put the slave on first and then the line and then bleed. Bled perfect and clutch is exactly where it should be. Super smooth, actually I think my old slave may have been working because I wasn't quite preppared for how easy, quite the clutch was. running a new m20 clutch on mine.

you shouldnt have to wire up your ABS to get it to work..you have an 88IS,just ike mine, your abs should work fine...I think pin 7 is ground.

Bleed the clutch slave cylinder with it out of the transmission, the bentley describes the procedure. I bled mine with it on a LOT (about 30 mins of it) and after I took it out it and did it the way the bentley described it belched out a LOT more air bubbles. Your clutch will feel amazing if you do it that way.

Also, where did you get the part below? I've done some searching and can't find it.

I personally didn't buy the adapter block thing. But its from Zionsville.

Thanks. I'll try that and when I do I'll post how it worked.

If you wanted to look at my other thread about it not starting that will tell you a little more in depth.

I saw you driving on 705 merging to I5 today. Sounded like you had minimal exhaust? Pretty sure it was you. Great looking car by the way ;)
