    Exhaust o2 Sensor

So, how do we wire the o2 sensor for the exhaust? This is for a m50nv.

It isn't in the E36 engine wire harness, was it part of the body? How do I connect it?

I am 100000% sure the engine harness has a plug for the oxygen sensor.

FML. I just spent the whole day installing the manifold and getting everything finished up.

I now remember cutting it off.

Ok, I found the wire that I cut, and here is the o2 sensor wire. I am now wondering what this square plug is? It is 2 pin. they were all bundled up together. Is it the reverse sensor? REMEMBER, this is from an AUTOMATIC.

I'm thinking it's probably not for reverse, since that would have to go on the switch that goes in the trans. I would just check an ETM, possibly on the auto trans pages.

Yes, that is for the reverse sensor.

In the swapped e30, we connect the reverse sensor from the body, not the engine wire harness like on the e36. Correct?
