    Swap almost complete, but........

Car started right up! But there are little things that are not right.

1.Crank position sensor blot was broken. Need to fix that problem but dont know how to go about it.
2.Engine sputters between 3k-4k rpms and once vanos kicks in, It's all great!!

Could this all be related? Motor feels strong, any sugg. would be greatly appreciated.

what is a crank position senor blot... you mean a bolt? if so, the crank sensor MUST be mounted properly and working correctly in order for the car to run as it should

lmao!!! Bolt....sorry. Would like to have the blot re-threaded but I dont want to make it worse. Half the bolt is still in there. It has little play so im thinking this is one of the problems. It not seating right might (Im speculating) be why it runs the way it does.

Here is a small clip of start up......Running no exhaust open headders. Working conditions are not optimal. LOL

yeah if the sensor has play in it that is a very likely cause as to why it would run bad.

drill out the bolt band either retap or helicoil, doesnt matter what bolt is holding it as long as it is secure and not contacting the crank teeth

              awesome. sick that its alive.

definitely gotta get that cps secure and tight. fix that first then go after the sputtering/misfire so you dont go chasing ghosts. and if its running clean after 4k looks like you could have vanos issues to sort. vanos doesnt kick in later in the powerband like vtec.
