Couldn't find a kit offered that looked good enough to buy, so i fabricated my own.
I used:
3" 90* elbow cut to size and two holes were drilled underneath to provide vacuum for the ICV and valve cover vent. This mounts to the MAF just like the stock intake boot.
6" of straight 3" silicone. Mounts between the MAF and the air filter.
K&N cone filter with a 3.5" base to clear the ABS pump.
Used a nice sign i had laying around (aluminum alloy sheet metal) to make a heat shield to bring intake temps down.
Left high beam was also removed and a black 6" inlet/3" outlet velocity stack is on its way to direct air into the "intake box". (Will be mounted in the high beam carrier.
Will update when it gets here.
P.S. all the shining dots in the first picture are shreds from the retro-reflective decal on the sign due to 10+ test fits before it was painted.
