    cps problem

went to test my crank position sensor and i get no resistance between pin 1 and 2, ive tried on three different cps and get nothing, is this normal if its dead, i would expect some resistance on at least one of the sensors, one of them is only 2 months old. Am i testing it wrong?

These are OBDI VR CPS's with only two pins right? Are the leads on your multimeter plugged into the right spots? Is the meter set to the right range?

I would say that yes without a doubt you are testing them wrong if these are two pin cps's

i think its a hall sensor, 3 pins and its magnetic at the tip...

I double checked my multi meter, used all the ranges, busted out my old cheepy multi meter tried that one through its ranges, i get proper resistance on other components

I must be testing it wrong though no way i have three shit cps with no reading... unless thats what they read when these things crap out
