    Firewall clearnance issues... ideas?

I've got my S50 in and running but the head is about 2mm away from the firewall which leaves no room for the wiring harness to mount.

It's also causing the hood to have a difficult time closing....

I shaved the firewall a little, but it doesn't seem like I could shave enough to make a real difference.

    Ideas???

I'm assuming you already removed the rubber insulation on the firewall since you are shaving it down already.

What engine and transmission mounts are you using? Sounds like your engine and/or transmission are sitting too high.

It shouldn't be quite that close or tall. What bushings are you using?

Using the IE offset motor mounts, a white325 G260 brace, and stock height trans mounts.
