Got a line on a euro spec e36...

A local guy has a 1992 euro spec e36 from Germany that hes selling. Its a 6 cylinder 5 spd. Wonder if anybody would know what its worth. I have a 90 325 and was thinkn about swapping the engine into my e30. Hes asking $500? Any opinions?

Its just a European car he had imported on NATO orders while he was working here. We have alot of german guys here and their imports due to the German Air Force training center.

Euro non m motors are not that much different than US spec. But running motor and trans for $500 is a good deal for any 24v swap.

For an M50 it means no differences basically. If its an M52, then the euro spec would mean you get an alloy block - but M50/M50TU is basically the same in the USA/Europe.

If it's in good shape for all that for five hundred I'd be very temped. Find out all you can about it first though.
