That's good to know. Thanks for the info. I'm personally favoring this option.

thanks! Do you know how much you cut off the rod and what die you use?

What's the deal with the spacer? I thought it would fit just fine? But the intake is waaaay too close to the 735i booster to fit.

I think I'm gonna have revshift make me some one off mounts there is no way these are dimensionally identical to the e28 M5 trap mounts. I never had a problem on any
M50 swap until I now when I changed a ton of shit I have always done the same before!

Never used a booster other than E21 I just hate the pedal feel and having a vac res is not a viable solution, there's just too much clutter even with all the minimizing efforts and relocation and remote reservoirs. Otherwise e21 pedal feel blows. I originally intended to use the Audi booster but the seller couldn't find it when it came time to ship so I grabbed this one out of a local salvage car. With the fins ground and both heat sheilds installed on motor mount the booster would dig about 4mm into the intake. With the driver side mount lifted about 4-5mm it the booster clears the intake with about 2-3mm. I think I could just remove the heat shields and gain that 1 ish mm drop on both sides and have the drivers made 3mm taller and the pass 2mm shorter to give optimum booster clearance and shifter angle.

Revshift said they would make me a one off set if I liked. :D thoughts?

What motor mounts you running? I'm gonna have a set made 5mm shorter on one side and 10mm taller on the other.

Call me. You dont want to be tilting the motor like that.
