    M50 2.8 stroker

I want to use b28 Crank And b25 rod NV (135mm) and M50B25 Vanos Piston to Stroke my M50,

What is the compression Ratio to this rotating assembly?

I used the b25 Piston to get higher compression ratio than b28 piston based on :
    M52B28, 31.82mm Compression height
    M50B25 (VANOS), 32.55mm Compression height

    #2
Using your numbers for piston heights and starting with the stock 10.2:1 of a m52b28 I get just over 11:1

I used this calculator and put in some estaments to get it to 10.2:1 and then changed the piston height to figure out the new compression.

This calculator is designed to show the different Compression Ratios for different sized engines.

    numbers I used

    2
    84
    84
    2.01 (made this number up)
    35 (made this number up)
0 (the valve reliefs are very similar on both pistons so I left it at 0)
.8 for stock 10.2:1 and subtract .73(the difference between the pistons)=.07 which gets you 11:1

I could see people getting 11.25:1 when they have the head resurfaced.

If any one knows the actually values I guessed let me know.
