There is tons of info about doing 24v swaps into all manner of E30, but between here, tech, BF.c and Google I haven't found anything specifically about what's different when swapping into an E30 M3. Here's what I have gathered so far:
-It sounds like wiring a 24v harness for an E30 M3 can have it's own set of issues from year to year:
-I should be able to use my E30 M3 drive-shaft with my ZF Transmission.
-My 4.10 LSD is too tall for use with this swap, I will need to buy a different one.
-I cannot use my transmission cross-member, I must use a standard E30 piece.
What about my gauge cluster? I have seen threads with people who have swapped cars trying to buy E30 M3 clusters, does it just work plug and play?
