    Gunky reservoir water

My coolant reservoir looks to have gunky water. When I unscrew the cap; there is a residue that has a gunky texture to it. It makes me uncomfortable. Also, there seams to be a few drops of coolant that drop from the engine inconsistantly when parked for a few days. HG has just been replaced and Tstat has been replaced not too long ago, and I have the aluminum tstat housing.

Is the gunk discolored? Did you do the HG. yourself ? Maybe you got some oil in the coolant holes. Did the head get checked for worps? Just some ideas

If it is black chunks then it is the inside of your coolant hoses falling apart, replace them before it causes issues.

        Hello Grinil.

I did the head gasket for him.

I did the thermostat housing gasket while had it apart since your old one was shit. Along with the thermostat seal.

Allu thermostat housings are notorious for leaking.. Look for the leak there.
