Identify this valve cover.

So both of these valve covers are for NV M50's. However one has the typical threaded hole for the coil cover mounts, and the other has these rounded nubs.




I cannot find the coil pack cover mounts that could fit the nubs. I was told that the nubs unscrew... I have not been able to unscrew them. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.

Put a pair of vicegrips on the largest diameter of the nub.

Its the bottom of the rubber bushing that you mount the cover to. You can ditch it or replace.

Yep, someone ripped the rubber bushing off of its metal base, and what's left is that round nub.

One of mine was so stuck I actually had to drill it out, and then Andrew re-tapped the hole and added a threaded insert.
