Hooray for Solutions
First - thanks so much giantkeeper, for actually posting your solution. So often these are left open (like my other thread currently is) and we never know.
Second - I am having this exact same sputter/miss, cold and warm, at idle, and up to 2500 rpm. I have good compression (between 170 and 180) and I have also:
- Replaced coils, plugs, boots
- Swapped injectors with a second set
- Cleaned ICV
- Cleaned MAF
- Tested for Vac Leaks
- Checked O2 sensor (with car running on GT-1)
Only thing left (well, not ONLY, but let's hope) is the MAF.
I am swapping that out for a known good MAF this weekend, and will post back and see if this was my issue too.
I hope it is - this is the only thing standing between me and a Cali BAR-legal swap! (I fail at idle, likely because of the misfire, which pushes HC up too high).
Thanks again for posting a follow-up that was easily searchable!Current:

Injectors/Plugs
Just to close this out - I finally fixed my problem with rebuilt injectors, and a fresh set of plugs.
The plugs alone helped (single electrode copper autolite - not OEM, but aggressive) but it was after the ECU adapted to the new injectors (about 100 miles of driving in my case) that the car stopped missing at idle.
Went from 207 HCs at idle down to 20. I clearly had a big miss.Current:

Nice, looks like I'll send mine out and get them cleaned.Originally posted by blunttechAlways Always go for the reach around if there is an option
