getrag 260 whines with m50b28?

swapped my gearbox from getrag 220 to Getrag 260 but the gearbox whines on 1 , 2 and little in the 3rd

the gearbox in good condition and Was working well on the M20B25 before the swap?

Have you tried draining and refilling the transmission with new gear oil? Take a look at the old oil and itll tell you alot about whats goin on with the tranny.

if your motor came from an auto car did you put a pilot bearing in it?? that was my problem and killed my first 260.

i refilled the gear with new oil (90w) but there is Notes in the gear (ATF only) but im using (MTF) ?

the pilot bearing brand new (M20 one)

I have always run mtf in the cases that call for atf with no problems. Most reputable shops will tell you the same thing...
