    Please help identify this part.

    It's for my friends m50 and this is the only thing that is not hooked up. I don't know where it went and can't find it in the manual.

    thermostat that mounts in your stock airbox - it ends up flowing coolant to the throttle body when too cold to prevent icing IIRC

      So for guys that are running just a cone filter what are you doing with this just capping off the lines??

        I tucked mine for the time being. Some say cap, some say just tie the two lines together.

                Can you jus get rid of the hoses to delete it? Or do you need to mess with the harness at all?

                  Just get rid of the hoses. Tuck the connector away somewhere hidden, no issues with not having it hooked up.
