I had to swap the pan on my m50 and while in there I pulled the intake manifold to tidy up wires/fuel lines etc
I tested the motor while still in the air and it ran for a few seconds and I shut it off. The next day I torqued mounts, put the engine covers on, and put the car on the ground and it tried to start but I haven't been able to get it run for more than a second or two.
The fuel pump wont prime on ACC but I have spark. I'm suspecting the busted looking resistor on the injector harness ground wire. The only cover I've ever had for this is the bigger injector engine cover. I'm thinking it may have shorted the already damaged resistor when I was installing it.
Could this ground wire be my problem and how can I test it???
