    Need a little help

    hello everyone i have a 325e and i have a motor im putting together to swap into my e30.I just blew up the stock m20 now i wanted to know what is the big diference in obd1 and obd2. i have a obd1 manifold what harness should i buy. im stuck...... a few freinds told me obd1 but i cant find a wire harnness but i have a obd2 harness what do. i need help this is my only running car ive been told the only thing that is a pain is to wire the fuel return and the fuel regulator is this true

    Oh, man, we need a lot more information. What engine exactly are you planning on putting in the car?

      OBD1 vs OBD2 is a different level of technology. OBD2 is much newer (past 1996) but is really only good for more emmissions stuff, and is harder to get to work. A lot of people swap OBD2 engines to obd1 sensors so they can tune, run boost, ect.

        Well the motor was out of a old obd1 325 but I stroked the motor to a 2.9 I have a head from a obd2 328 I purchased an obd1 manifold so now I don't know wich wire harness to use the emissions I don't car about cause I live. In Florida and to be honest not scared of ews or o2s the computer and software is being done at none other than active Autowerke so just a Lil help on what to use
