removing the nipple is not involved, getting a die might be the most involved part... didnt think harbor frieght would have them for some reason. just go that route, simpleeeee and you eliminate another coolant line from failing!
I decided to do the 24v swap. My build tread.

im in the middle of putting in the e32 750il master and booster so ill leave this all here. I just went 5 lug, so its a nice addition if you see yourself headed that way.

there is only two studs, which are further apart

file the holes to fit the wider footing

made some BIG "washers" to hold the new footing securely

Installed
^^ dont know why they said you needed that tube. get the correct fittings, cut off the old smaller one, bubble flarr the new fittings on. DONE.Originally posted by Lof84 doors allow you to transport more whores.

just so im clear, Im gonna shave the nipple off coming out of the head. the nipple was meant for the T/B heater (the coolant lines that run through the T/B for cold weather). which Im not using. next, I rethread the e30 temp sensor, then I take a die to the hole were the nipple was at? Is this rite? Sorry I just want to make sure i'm clear on this. lolComment

Trust me... ive had too. funny thing was when finding the correct coil covers i kept ordering s50 coil covers and kept getting s52 covers... hate ebay sellers
this is correct! entire HF kit was 20 tho lol tap and die. for the record i broke the tap wrench first time using it...
Very simple once you get to the nuts and bolts of it allOriginally posted by Lof84 doors allow you to transport more whores.

NO! lol. that nipple wrenches right out. you just rethread the temp sensor. ill see if i can dig that up. wish i book marked this all for ya.just so im clear, Im gonna shave the nipple off coming out of the head. the nipple was meant for the T/B heater (the coolant lines that run through the T/B for cold weather). which Im not using. next, I rethread the e30 temp sensor, then I take a die to the hole were the nipple was at? and nope, with e32 booster it bolted right to the pedal. IX booster also just needed some adjusting if you go that route but no chipping threading or welding was needed for me with either setup.Originally posted by Lof84 doors allow you to transport more whores.
