I know how much I paid for everything I've done during the course of my swap, but I'm not adding it up. You guys are gluttons for punishment.

            My List

This is what i have into mine so far. If there is no cost listed I have not bought it yet, I have included most shipping in the prices to be as accurate as possible. My car is a 1991 318is, I will be going OBD II and staying with the 240 Trans. Probably a few other things not listed that I will need. Hope this helps.

Not including the fact that I blew up my rebuilt M50 stroker at the end of july...

About $3500 or so for S52 + ZF tranny.

If I were to add up everything that I've changed... I'd probably be around 14k.

                    ~$8.5K including labor for my OBD1 S52 into a 89 325i with sport cams.

I'm going to be at aprox. $8500 USD for my S52 swap (all parts and labor.) This includes a set of new schrick sport cams and tune which was an extra ~$1500 USD. I also opted for upgrades like the 3.5" MAF with 24lb injectors, lightened flywheel and street clutch kit, Mishimoto alum. radiator, power pulley kit, skid plate and a bunch of other extra upgrade stuff that jacked the price up.

Spot on! I'm looking primarily for a low mileage NV motor.
My friend Nick has a 92' 325i, and really recommends the engine.
I have an M42 with fresh timing components that I did in April, etc..figure I could sell it to a 2002 guy probably and make some waffleswaffleswaffles back.
Do you have a link to your build sir?

My customers spend all over the place.

My E30 that im throwing a POS M50NV in i have about 400$ into total. (its cheating a little when i have half the parts i need laying around the shop ;) ) so not really an accurate estimate but ide say if i included the price of the parts maybe 800$.

I'm sure I'm in the 10k range with my S54 swap. Being able to sell the S14 for just over 4k helps though. Its the misc gaskets, bolts, and nuts that were hard to budget for.

I have probably about 2k into my swap but I got the motor, tranny, driveshaft, all obd1 components, and a bunch of other parts for free. The money I spend mostly went into preventative maintenance parts and exhaust work.
